The Role
The Project Manager will receive and tender customer enquiries and the coordination of the manufacture and supply of materials from projects for standard pre-engineered spare parts, custom engineered fans and upgrades in an effective and profitable manner whilst maintaining a good working relationship with all clients by providing timely and professional service.

What you will do
- Review and assess enquiries to establish a clear understanding of the scope of work required.
- Establish the existence of items numbers, full technical descriptions and detail drawing (if applicable) to enable the manufacture / procurement of required components.
- Arrange and coordinate with engineering / drawing office and customer (if required) for a design review of the requirements to be carried out and the preparation of design drawings / specifications, when pre-engineered items cannot be established
- Establish current costs, prepare and submit tenders. Liaise with customers to secure orders and negotiate terms of contract where necessary.
- Review and process customer orders and co-ordinate the material procurement (including the placement of sub-orders), manufacturing, delivery and invoicing to ensure timely deliveries.
- Establish the purchase requirements of proprietary stock and project items and process the placement of sub-orders as applicable.
- Arrange and co-ordinate installation and commissioning of project (as required).
- Review, co-ordinate, prepare (as required) and issue the project documentation / certification requirements to the customer.
- Liaise with customers and keep them informed of project progress, delivery times and all other project related matters.
- Review, co-ordinate and prepare (as applicable), the generation of the appropriate project shipping paperwork.
- Undertake effective project management to ensure smooth project execution of the manufacture and supply of items, site activities, financials and profitable delivery of contract. Including the prompt resolution of any warranty issues.
What do you bring
An ideal candidate would likely have the following profile:
- Degree qualified.
- 3 years minimum experienced in managing multiple projects from conception to closure.
- A strong working knowledge of Axial, Centrifugal Fans and Air Pre-heaters and their constituent component parts and functions.
- Computer literacy, with good knowledge on using MSOffice applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear concise information / instruction, either verbal or written to all business levels.
- Good administration and time management skills.
It would be beneficial to have the following:
- Exposure to manufacturing environment
- A basic knowledge of Axial, Centrifugal Fans and Air Pre-heaters and their constituent component parts and functions.
- Exposure to on-site installations
- MS Project familiarity
