Chart's Brentwood, New Hampshire is looking for pipe fitter/welders to join the team!

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
  • Performs basic to moderate welding activities, including hand welding and material handling equipment, under general supervision
  • Welds metal parts on fixtures including attaching jogs and clamps to hold metal parts in proper position
  • Updates and maintains all required documentation associated with job responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment
  • Maintains a clean work area and general housekeeping standards
  • Understands and practices established safety and quality standard procedures, including utilization of chemical solutions to clean containers
  • Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assignment by management
Your Education Should Be…
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. 

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this role, including close vision. color evaluations and the ability to adjust to focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.

Mediums to loud noise level in the work environment

Your Professional Experience Should Be…
  • Basic to intermediate MIG and TIG welding skills
  • Pass 3G weld test
  • Experience interpreting blue prints and bill of materials (BOM)
  • Basic math skills (weight measurement, volume, distance, multiplication and division)
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Self - starter capable of managing workload under minimal direction and supervision
  • Proven ability to identify, reason and problem solve minor non-conformities and deviations  
  • Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

Preferred:

  • 6 months welding experience
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures
