We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Mechanical Buyouts Procurement Buyer to oversee the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and procurement of industrial valves, instruments, automation components, mechanical parts, equipment, and related services. The ideal candidate brings 8 to 12 years of procurement experience within the mechanical or industrial manufacturing environment, coupled with strong negotiation capabilities and a solid understanding of supplier management and cost‑efficiency strategies

Your Experience Should Be...

  • BE / B. Tech – Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college
  • Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in procurement or industrial buying of mechanical components such as valves, fittings, flanges, pipes, instruments, transmitters, pumps, etc.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, systems, and supplier ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and procurement tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment

What Will You Do?

  • Purchase Order Management:  Create, release, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to technical and commercial requirements.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:   Develop and maintain productive relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, performance, and issue resolution.
  • Cost Optimization:   Analyze pricing trends and market dynamics to negotiate competitive terms and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Compliance & Documentation:  Ensure all procurement activities align with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Inventory Coordination:  Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain appropriate stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to support organizational objectives and align procurement strategies with business needs.
  • Risk Management:  Identify supply‑related risks and implement mitigation strategies to secure uninterrupted material availability
