Position Summary: Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment. Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Responsible for installation, commissioning, scheduled and emergency service on products.
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- This position is accountable for commissioning, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing customer equipment (turboexpanders).
- Instructs customers and sales personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Analyzes complex problems in equipment and machinery and interprets maintenance manuals, using knowledge of systems to isolate and correct the fault.
- Consults with product support and engineering personnel to determine solutions to complex problems in system operation.
- Reports customer suggestions on product improvement and existing product designs to the appropriate technical specialist.
- Taking Customer calls
- Preparing proposals based on customer needs.
- Schedule jobs using online application.
- Assists in the developing design modifications.
- Implements modifications and provides installation support for the modifications.
- Maintains service equipment, tools and documentation.
Your Education Should Be…
- Minimum requirements include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to work inside & outside in either cold or hot climates
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Domestic and international travel 50% to 70% of the time.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- 5 years of working experience with rotating equipment, turbomachinery; turbo-expanders, and/or compressors.
- Must possess a good working aptitude for mechanical, hydraulic and control repair.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits including PLC; Allen-Bradley, Siemens.
- Excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to interface with Engineering and Project Team.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
- Familiarity with other cultures and ability to effectively communicate with diverse cross-cultural customers.
- Must be capable of working independently with little general supervision.
