Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will own all commercial activity focused on data centers for equipment across all of our solutions. This hunter role is expected to develop client relationships, identify opportunities, generate leads, manage sales opportunities, present Chart’s solutions to the clients, negotiate commercial terms and grow revenue and margin for Chart’s business.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

Identify potential customers and open doors

  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients needs and create a value proposition to meet those needs with Charts solutions
  • Partner with our internal teams to design the best solution for the clients needs
  • Conduct commercial negotiations
  • Position chart to win orders by influencing our customers project plan and technology analysis
  • Collaborate across Charts companies to actively market and position Chart towards opportunity success
  • Identify/communicate potential opportunities using Salesforce

Your Education Should Be…

Bachelor's degree  or equivalent experience

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Lift up to 15 pounds
  • Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, other related tasks in an office setting
  • Travel to customer meetings

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 5 years in sales
  • Experience with data centers
  • Experience negotiating complex multi-million-dollar technical sales
  • Self-motivation to cultivate new business and close opportunities that are key to Chart
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
