Chart's Production Assembler position plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Chart’s products. Chart’s Theodore location is currently seeking candidates interested in a Production position as we grow this facility. This position will be responsible for assisting in areas such as crating, buffing, plumbing, wrapping, etc. All required training is provided.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Opportunities are mostly on night shift (6p to 4:30a, M-Th).  Day shift opportunities are limited.  Overtime will be required due to production volume.

  • May be assigned to help with any of the following tasks and responsibilities:  working in the wrapping/nesting area, washing tanks, moving materials, grinding, drilling holes, assisting welders and other operations roles, etc.   Opportunity to advance as your skills grow to other areas of the plant, including pipecutting, tubebending, electricals, pneumatics, etc.

  • Assist with the assembly of vessels through established manufacturing processes
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs
  • Other work as assigned
  • Complete and follow all safety procedures and policies
  • Complete company provided training to effectively perform required job responsibilities

Your Education Should Be…

  • High School diploma or GED

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, walking and occasional crawling
  • Frequent pushing, pulling and handling of material
  • Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
