What Will You Do?

  • Product Shipment – Responsible for BOL including MRP system updates (currently E1) to ensure accurate and timely shipping of products
  • Receiving – Receives raw materials per Purchase Order located in E1 (Chart’s MRP); Handles complex receipts and debits on both purchase orders and sales orders
  • Responsible for Bills of Lading
  • Generates freight quotes for shipment
  • Serves as main point of contact to all vendors and shippers
  • Prepares orders for shipment and schedules all shipments with vendors and shipping companies
  • Accepts and signs for deliveries
  • Assists in unloading shipments from delivery trucks
  • Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for
  • Assists with inventory level maintenance and inventory counts, as needed
  • Operates forklift and other warehouse equipment to complete tasks adhering to company safety practices
  • Maintains a clean work area and practices general housekeeping standards
  • Performs all tasks to ISO standards and requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk or hear; stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours a day. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Your Experience Should Be...

Required:

  • Experience with MRP systems
  • Time management skills
  • Proven problem-solving ability of complex issues is essential
  • Attention to detail essential
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 procedures
  • Overtime and weekend hours, as needed

 

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years supply chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • JDE knowledge, a plus
