What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and shipping/receiving team, including order picking, cycle counting, yard management, and weld wire consumables counting
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training and feedback to team members
  • Approving weekly time and PTO, managing overtime
  • Coordinates quality, health, safety and environmental efforts for area

Your Education Should Be…

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable
  • APICS certification desirable

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • Possible travel to customers, vendors, or other Chart locations is possible
  • Production floor environment will involve possible exposure to materials with rough edges, temperature extremes, moving mechanical parts, occasional flying debris, chemical cleaning solvents and their odors.
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and talk/hear. This position requires employee occasionally to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration.

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 5 years in a manufacturing environment (may substitute some experience with a bachelor's degree)
  • Experience working with MRP systems, JDE preferred
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Team player mentality
