We are currently seeking a Manual Machinist II in the US to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Aftermarket CPI business. In this role you will be responsible for working on compressor repair parts. ​​​​​​​

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

Operate jib hoists and overhead cranes.

Effectively communicate needs and opportunities with other team members.

Maintain quality standards throughout the machine shop.

Maintain Daily production and on time deliveries.

May include cleaning and preparing a jobsite

Loading and delivering materials

May use equipment such as blowtorches, forklifts, levels, lifts, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.

Adhere to standardized processes and procedures and maintain reports as required.

Regularly communicate material issues that may impact other team members in the business

Regularly attend team meeting, to establish production schedule.

Maintains accurate production records and job history

Keeps a clean and orderly work area

Performs any other assigned duty as directed by management.

Some local travel may be required

 

Your Education and Professional Experience Should Be…

  • Role requires 2 to 3 years of experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Thorough knowledge of set up of elements and castings on a turntable application
  • Understanding and proven knowledge and experience of cutting tool applications on a horizontal milling machine.
