Working collaboratively with the HR Manager. The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers employee health plans, recruiting, payroll and will liaise between employees and additional departments. This position resolves benefits-related, recruiting and payroll problems. This role will ensure effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator ensures that certain plans are administered per federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain necessary reports, as needed, to ensure the accuracy of data and processes
- Complete transactions in the HRIS system for employees from by entering new hires, promotions, and terminations
- Maintains data management systems
- Facilitate Onboarding and conduct New Hire Orientations
- Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including partnering with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, posting positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring
- Oversees and coordinates training of managers and employees to ensure understanding of Payroll and record keeping, legal and regulatory compliance, positive employee relations, and all other company-wide program or policy initiatives.
- Coordinate & administer company benefits programs, including annual open enrollment, and assist with wellness programs.
- Proactively supports the HR Strategy
- Responsible for assisting in implementing Charts’ human resource policies and procedures to ensure consistency of application and compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
- Documents, reviews, and recommends action plans for compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, including compliance with EEO and AA programs to correct under-representation.
- Responsible for metrics tracking & reporting for staffing, compensation, and other required HR functions.
- Processes bi-weekly and weekly payroll, including exceptions, premiums, and bonuses.

Your Experience Should Be...
- Associate degree (A.A.) or higher from a two or four-year college or university and 2-5 years of human resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing organization.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong, trusting relationships across the organization and divisions.
- Ability to use research methods effectively, including data collection, diagnostic, and analytical skills
- Experience in proactive, cold calling, networking, and passive recruiting roles.
- Must demonstrate an ability to interview candidates and assess their capabilities of fitting in with the organization and position.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Internet, and Email
- Experience with HRIS systems (SuccessFactors)
- The ability to predictably and regularly attend work and to be punctual
- The ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers
- The ability to perform several tasks at once
- The ability to follow directions or instruction
- The ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
