What Will You Do?
As a Production Supervisor, you will:
Lead & Build High-Performing Teams
- Hire, train, coach, and mentor Production Leads and team members to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and accountability across all shifts.
- Conduct 45-day, 90-day, and annual performance reviews, providing timely, constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Promote strong team dynamics by facilitating clear communication, problem-solving, and mutual support.
Manage Projects & Workflow
- Plan and set monthly and quarterly objectives for production departments, ensuring smooth workflow, quality output, and on-time delivery.
- Balance resources, schedules, and priorities to meet production targets.
- Partner with other departments to coordinate materials, staffing requirements, and project timelines.
- Evaluate and optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
Drive Continuous Improvement
- Facilitate Gemba walks, 5S initiatives, and lean manufacturing objectives to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
- Analyze data, address defects, and recommend process improvements to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve design or bill-of-material inconsistencies.
Ensure Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Train employees in departmental procedures with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
- Administer work rules, regulations, and disciplinary action when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation for training records, attendance, and required reports.
- Uphold all company policies, procedures, safety objectives, and regulatory compliance standards.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger; handle or feel objects; tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Your Experience Should Be...
- Proven leadership ability—experience supervising manufacturing/production teams with a focus on developing talent and fostering strong team relationships.
- Project management skills—able to set objectives, manage timelines, allocate resources, and deliver results on schedule.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and lean methodologies.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate.
- Problem-solving mindset, using facts and data to make effective decisions.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Supervisor/Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical preferred
