Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The Quality Engineer reports to the Quality Manager and assists the quality department team in supporting the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policy.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Maintaining the nonconformance and CAPA program.
  • Coordinating the performance and completion of required employee training, through the utilization of Chart’s Master Control program, to develop and improve employee proficiency.
  • Coordinating and perform equipment validations in preparation for use in production.
  • Ensuring inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE) used at the Chart Tulsa facility is calibrated and maintained current.
  • Designs, installs, and evaluates quality process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques.
  • Assists in the formulation of quality procedures and plans, and recommends revision of specifications when indicated.
  • Interfaces with engineering and production components within the company, and with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues

  • Work together with relevant teams and departments to improve products
  • Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards
  • Brainstorm ideas to create solutions for identified problems
  • Formulate a strategic plan to increase productivity in the business
  • Document results and findings after inspections are carried out
  • Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process

Your Education Should Be…

BS in Engineering, Physical Science, or other relevant technical field

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

5 years prior experience
