What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

Responsibilities: Hybrid of both AE and PM
•    Lead development of our aftermarket quotes by coordinating with engineering, sales, procurement, operations, and vendors
•    Prepare proposals in a fast-paced environment, owning pricing components and technical review
•    Manage multiple concurrent proposals throughout the entire bid cycle, from opportunity inception through fulfillment kickoff
•    Responsible for managing several projects simultaneously from order issuance, design, document transmittals, fabrication, testing, invoicing/collection through shipment
•    Projects include: redesign, repair, and supply of highly engineered, high-speed rotating machinery and related parts
•    Primary liaison between internal Company department and customer. Identify critical path items, create and maintain a project schedule
•    Monitor workflow and progress against timeline, milestones and budget, recommend/make adjustments
•    Ensure timely and accurate completion of drawings and documents submittals
•    Responsible for delivering the project on time and within the budget
•    Understand his/her priorities and time-scales and works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
•    Create an atmosphere in which timely and high-quality information flows smoothly to colleagues at all levels, within or external of the organization
•    Travel on an as-needed basis to customer and vendor sites, periodically domestic travel
•    Day-to-day work in an office setting with time spent on the production floor working with production staff

Your Education Should Be…

•    College degree with proven mechanical aptitude
•    BS degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering preferred

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

Position Requirements: 
•    2-5 years of related Manufacturing/Project Engineer/Management experience
•    Experience with turbomachinery: turboexpanders, rotating equipment and/or compressors preferred
•    Requires excellent language skills, verbal and written
•    Flexible and ability to respond to demanding customers and adapt to change quickly and easily with a positive attitude 
•    Attention to detail, thoroughness in accomplishing a task 
•    Excellent planning and organizing - ability to establish a systematic course of action, set priorities, goals, and timetables to achieve maximum productivity
•    Ability to plan ahead for upcoming problems or opportunities and takes appropriate action
•    Negotiation skills – ability to explore positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that gain acceptance of all parties
•    Demonstrate a high level of dependability in all aspects of the project
•    Excellent analytical, fast learner, problem-solving skills
•    Develop cooperation and teamwork, cross functional teams interfacing, and ability to influence all levels across the organization
•    Customer service (both internal and external organization) oriented, people-oriented, professionalism 
•    Advanced administrative skills
•    Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and PC skills
•    Familiarity with reading and understanding engineering drawings, parts lists, Quality Databook/Dossier documentation, and Shipping documents and Incoterm rules (domestic and international)
