What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

 Cut, thread, and fit pipe and tubing to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, and threading joints. Attach pipes to structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.  Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Evaluate, design, and implement proper assembly for Turboexpander Machines. Give guidance to fellow employees and help to assure projects schedules are maintained.

  • Evaluate P & ID Drawings and design pipelines & tubing lines on machines.
  • Determine materials needed to complete assembly.
  • Cut and assemble piping using valves and tube fittings.
  • Fabricate tubing lines for instruments and lubrication consoles.
  • Install instruments which include differential gages, switches, and transmitters.
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Proficient at reading P & ID drawings
  • Understanding of basic welding
  • Mechanical knowledge in plumbing
  • Certified ASME Welder (a plus)
  • Refinery, high pressure oil and gas piping experience a plus
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Tubing experience
  • Fabrication experience

High School diploma or GED

  • Hands-on leadership 
  • Computer knowledge a plus
  • Comply with all safety regulations
  • 5 years demonstrated experience in supervision
  • A strong passion for delivering the highest quality 
  • 5 + years of experience in Pipe Fitting within a manufacturing environment.
