AFM Sales Support (Technical Sales Representative)

This role is critical in supporting our Parts Estimating Team (PET) and driving our sales success through
effective client engagement, accurate data management, and prompt order processing. 

What Will You Do?

1.   Client Prospecting & Engagement 
• Compile lists of prospective client businesses using directories, CRM, and other sources
• Occasionally visit or communicate with prospective and existing clients to establish and maintain 
business relationships and act on selling opportunities
• Clarify customer requirements, timelines, and recommend suitable goods and services 
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues arising
 
Sales Support & Order Management
• Manage inflow of customer enquiries via MS Outlook, SAP Ariba, and CRM portals 
• Input enquiries into CRM, assign to appropriate team members, and store relevant documents
• Timely receipt and processing of customer orders; enter spares orders into AX ERP system 
 

• Cross-check and reconcile purchase orders and CRM data for accuracy before closing oppor• Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, complete contracts, and record orders 
arket Intelligence & Reporting
• Acquire and update knowledge of company and competitor products, services, and market con
• Monitor changing customer needs and competitor activity, reporting developments to sales
management 
• Occasionally assist in preparing sales reports and maintaining records of business expenses 
Delivery & Fulfilment
• Arrange delivery of goods, installation of equipment, and provision of services 
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer satisfaction 

 Data Management & Accuracy
• Ensure data for open tenders and won projects in CRM is accurate and up to date 
• Update data in other support databases as required.

Health, Safety & Compliance 
• Take reasonable care for own health and safety and comply with company policies
• Liaise with management regarding current health and safety legislation and obligations

Skills & Experience
Essential: 
• Experience in business/office administration
• CRM system knowledge and reporting experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Able to make decisions independently and present professionally
• Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Excel
