What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis
- Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
- Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Will require overtime and some weekends
Your Education Should Be…
High school diploma or GED
4 plus years of welding experience. Current and valid certification a plus. Must possess mechanical aptitude
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Stooping, bending, standing for 8-10 hour shift
will need to wear PPE that will require total head covering for safety
Able to lift up to 25lbs
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
- Able to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Follow work instructions/blueprints
